Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

Got a burning question? Looking for more info about one of my products, wholesale, or a pending order? Check out my list of frequently asked questions below for some quick answers. If your question isn’t answered here, get in touch so I can help!

What is your return policy?

I, unfortunately, don't accept returns. If you receive your order and it's damaged, please, email me and attach a photo within 24 hours to get it taken care of. I can then send a replacement if shipping insurance was purchased. If for some reason you are not satisfied with your order for reasons other than it being damaged, please send me an email to resolve the problem.

Do you take custom orders?

Yes, but I have VERY limited spots for customs randomly throughout the year. Join my Beading With Faith VIP group on Facebook to see when I announce availability or follow my social media pages. If you manage to snag a spot, please, send me an email with as much detail about what you are wanting as possible. Since all jewelry is made by hand, custom orders can take 1-12 weeks depending on what you are wanting to be made and peak times.

Which payments methods do you take?

I accept Venmo, Paypal, Square, and all major credit and debit cards for your convenience. Please, email me to use Venmo.

Do you offer Wholesale?

In short, no. Each piece is carefully and slowly made by hand. I cannot lower prices further to wholesale.

When can I expect my order to ship?

All jewelry at Beading With Faith is handcrafted by D'dra Watson. Due to this and being a one woman show with a toddler also, pieces that are made to order can take 1 day to 10 weeks to ship. Shipping is $5 and takes 1-5 days to arrive.

Custom orders can take longer to make, so allow 1-12 weeks for it to be shipped.

Please, also realize these times can be extended further by 1-2 weeks due to peak times in the year such as Valentine's Day and Christmas so do not procrastinate when ordering to ensure it gets to you on time!

IMPORTANT: Every order is shipped with automatic $50 insurance, however, the customer is responsible for adding additional insurance on the package should they want it. It can be purchased on any product page before checkout. Although it rarely happens, I am not responsible for lost and/or damaged packages. I can only refund or repair your order if you have purchased insurance to cover your package. You have 24 hours after delivery to email a picture of the reported damage to have it repaired. If emailed outside of that timeline, the customer is responsible for return shipping and repair costs.

Can you ship outside of the US?

Yes, I can! Shipping costs more, but I can ship outside of the USA. It is $35 to ship outside of the US due to customs regulations on jewelry and automatically comes with insurance.

IMPORTANT: If you are not international, the customer is responsible for adding insurance to the package. It can be purchased on any product page before checkout. Although it rarely happens, I am not responsible for lost and/or damaged packages. I can only refund or repair your order if you have purchased insurance to cover your package. You have 24 hours after delivery to email a picture of the reported damage to have it repaired. Do you have payment plans?

Yes, I do! Please, email me to discuss payment plan options as there are a few to pick from. Be aware that your order will not be started or shipped until payment is received in full. It is the buyer's responsibility to remember when payments are due. If you miss a payment installment a one time $30 late fee will be added. If a payment is missed a second time your order will be canceled and all stones/materials will be put back on the market. All payments are non-refundable.

Care Instructions

Over time, sterling silver and brass can tarnish and turn a darker color than when originally purchased. It is very important to properly care for your new handcrafted sterling silver jewelry to keep it looking as beautiful and shiny as the first day you received it. Proper care includes being conscious of how you store, wear and clean your jewelry.

Here are a few ways you can store your pieces.

  • Store individual pieces separately and in an airtight bag.

  • Place in an area with low humidity.

  • Keep clasps/closures unhooked.

  • Place a packet of silica or piece of chalk in the storage bag.

Wearing your new handcrafted sterling silver jewelry regularly helps prevent tarnishing since the oils from your body have a natural cleaning effect on the metal. However, some daily activities can accelerate tarnishing or even cause corrosion/damage stones.

Remove your jewelry (especially if they contain stones) if doing the following:

  • Using household cleaning supplies.

  • Cooking with mustard, onions, eggs, or any other foods that contain sulfur.

  • Sunbathing

  • Swimming

  • Spraying Hairspray

  • Showering

  • Putting on Lotion and Makeup

Lastly, you will be sent a small polishing cloth to help maintain your piece.

*Please, look up additional info on specific stones you have purchased as some require extra care such as opals and turquoise.

Why do you require a deposit before discussing custom orders?

Creating and designing the perfect custom piece for you requires quite a bit of time and consideration to suit your wants and needs. Due to that, I require a non-refundable $30 deposit before further discussing design options. Should you decide you love what we come up with, the $30 deposit will go towards your final total. Once you purchase the "Custom Order Deposit" listing, please contact me via email or by private messaging me on Facebook/Instagram to proceed. I cannot wait to create the perfect piece for you that will last a lifetime!
